The Independent Police Investigative Directorate is seeking an Administrative Support and Co-ordination Officer to join their team in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Manage administrative and co-ordination activities within the office of the executive authority.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding the executive authority’s portfolio.
- Provide Cabinet and executive council support services to the executive authority.
- Supervise and mentor employees to foster a productive work environment.
- Assist in the development of policies related to the Directorate’s operations.
What You’ll Need
- Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced Diploma/Degree in Public Administration/Management or a relevant qualification (NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in assistant director or middle management roles.
- Knowledge of ministry operations is an advantage.
- Strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Understanding of the political and parliamentary processes in South Africa.
- Proven experience in policy analysis and development.
- Good planning and resource management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and travel as required.
