What You’ll Do
- Manage correspondence between the directorate and clients to ensure effective communication.
- Maintain an organized filing system and update the authorisations database.
- Keep detailed records of expenditure and assist in budget compilation.
- Administer procurement and payment processes for the directorate.
- Provide administrative support during recruitment and selection processes.
- Oversee performance management processes and compile training plans.
- Arrange logistics for meetings and workshops, including preparing document packs and taking minutes.
- Handle travel arrangements and perform general office administration duties.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate plus a recognized National Diploma/Undergraduate qualification in Office Administration or an equivalent.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field post-qualification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizing and planning abilities, with strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- Understanding of financial management and procurement policies relevant to the department.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Competence in collecting and interpreting information and reports.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, along with a valid driver’s license.
