What You’ll Do
- Manage a team of administrative clerks to ensure efficient personnel administration.
- Oversee all personnel matters related to salary administration, including appointments and service terminations.
- Conduct audits of leave and personnel files to maintain compliance.
- Administer pension processes and manage debt related to personnel transactions.
- Facilitate the Staff Performance Management System (SPMS) for subordinates.
- Provide guidance and support on HR matters to staff, management, and the public.
- Conduct various administrative tasks to support the HR function.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
- Relevant experience in Human Resource Management and personnel administration, preferably within the public service.
- Familiarity with salary systems such as PERSAL and the administration of the Staff Performance Management System (SPMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for working with figures.
