What You’ll Do

  • Register incoming case dockets and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Capture and update information in the electronic case register (ECR) daily.
  • Provide necessary documentation to defense teams upon request from prosecutors.
  • Liaise with prosecutors regarding court matters and verify case statuses.
  • Generate reports for statistical purposes from the ECR and other reporting tools.
  • Assist with document management, including preparing and maintaining files.
  • Respond to queries about case flow from prosecutors and the South African Police Service (SAPS).
  • Support other administrative functions as directed by your line manager.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
