The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join its Head Office in Bhisho. What You’ll Do
- Assist in the creation and management of the SHR Training and Development Business Plan.
- Manage Registrar HR-related processes, including appointments and qualifications verification.
- Monitor and report on budget allocations for Medical registrars and interns.
- Update and maintain registrar records and track all related activities.
- Coordinate clinical training programs, including logistics and record-keeping.
- Process procurement activities related to training.
- Support evaluation processes by summarizing feedback from training sessions.
- Ensure proper setup of training venues and maintain training material inventory.
- Adhere to departmental policies and reporting requirements consistently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor to support overall operations.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in a relevant field such as Public Administration or Human Resource Management.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of public administrative systems and human resources regulations.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of the PERSAL system and ability to interpret HR prescripts.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong customer focus and management skills related to training programs.
