What You’ll Do

  • Receive and manage all PAIA requests, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Coordinate responses to PAIA requests and liaise with internal legal advisors for quality assurance.
  • Assist in training facilities within the hub on managing PAIA requests effectively.
  • Facilitate the response process to requests from internal defence teams, such as the Office of the State Attorney.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations between requests received and responses given, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Load PAIA requests and all relevant documents into the electronic system for record-keeping.
  • Manage records and submit necessary information to various institutions, including the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA).

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate or NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Strong interpersonal relations and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure with self-drive and motivation.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with one year of public service internship experience.
