What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and provide registry counter services to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee the handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence to maintain effective communication.
  • Manage filing and records management services to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Operate office machines related to registry functions and oversee their usage.
  • Supervise the processing of documents for archiving and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and support staff in their roles to foster a collaborative work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ National Diploma (NQF Level 06) in Public Administration, Public Affairs, Public Management, Information Science, Information Management and Technology, Archives and Records Management, Management Assistant, or Office Administration.
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in records management, auxiliary services, or administration.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
  • A certificate in Archives and Records Management will be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative frameworks governing records management and registry operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including report writing, planning, and organizing skills.
