What You’ll Do

  • Process salary claims and manage payroll to ensure timely payments for all employees.
  • Conduct tax reconciliations and submissions, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Manage suspense accounts and reporting to track financial transactions accurately.
  • Develop and review procedure manuals and policies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a productive work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant three-year tertiary qualification (NQF level 6) in Finance.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in the salaries and tax environment, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive knowledge of BAS, Tax, and PERSAL systems, along with high computer literacy.
  • Strong management and planning skills, with proficient report writing and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A solid understanding of the PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and other relevant legislation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure while being a reliable team player.
