What You’ll Do
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Departmental Annual Performance Plan and divisional operational plans.
- Analyze and assess strategic and annual performance plans for proper alignment with departmental goals.
- Help develop performance indicators and measurements to gauge departmental success.
- Compile comprehensive feedback reports to address discrepancies in performance planning.
- Provide input into systems and tools essential for planning and reporting on departmental performance.
- Coordinate and monitor the department’s progress against strategic and annual performance plans.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective planning and reporting mechanisms.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for planning, monitoring, and reporting systems.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate with a minimum National Diploma (NQF level 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Management, or a related qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in strategic monitoring and planning aligned with operational requirements.
- Strong knowledge of the consolidation of departmental performance and strategic plans.
- Familiarity with the Government’s Policy Framework and strategic management.
- Ability to effectively evaluate and analyze information for policy development and application.
