What You’ll Do
- Manage departmental drivers and coordinate their schedules
- Administer fleet vehicle utilization and accurately log trips daily
- Conduct daily inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Prepare reports on fleet services and manage costing effectively
- Verify invoices from service providers for accuracy and policy compliance
- Facilitate timely payments for transport-related services
- Reconcile accounts and manage logbooks systematically
- Oversee rental vehicle provision and initiate procurement processes for ministerial vehicles
- Administer traffic fines and process new applications for subsidized vehicles
- Ensure adherence to policy requirements for reimbursement of kilometers
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Relevant experience in Fleet, Subsidized Vehicles, and Transport Management
- A valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and transport-related policies
- Proficiency in computer literacy and financial administration
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to varying work schedules
