What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement policies that align with the departmental strategy.
- Manage the technical aspects of the departmental website to ensure optimal performance.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding website content to keep information current and relevant.
- Maintain, manage, and support the departmental website, ensuring user-friendly navigation.
- Collaborate with the EMIS and Information Officer to publish educational data effectively.
- Represent the department at various forums on departmental, provincial, and national levels.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF 7) in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent client liaison capabilities and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during extended hours.
- Familiarity with HTML, ASP.NET, PHP languages, and SQL databases.
- Experience in the educational sector and project management is highly advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
