What You’ll Do

  • Provide expert advice on a range of labour relations issues, including misconduct and grievances.
  • Represent the employer in disciplinary hearings and arbitration processes.
  • Facilitate training sessions on Labour Relations for departmental staff.
  • Investigate grievances and ensure appropriate management of employee relations practices.
  • Maintain and manage the Employee Relations database and draft relevant reports and policies.
  • Supervise staff effectively to promote an environment of shared responsibility and accountability.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law.
  • Relevant experience in Labour Relations in either the Public or Private Sector.
  • A valid Code (B/EB) driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle conflicts effectively.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in collective bargaining and dispute resolution.
  • Investigative skills and experience presiding over disciplinary matters and hearings.
