What You’ll Do

  • Conduct audits to assess employer compliance with the UIA and UICA.
  • Serve enforcement notices to employers who fail to comply with regulations.
  • Refer non-compliant employers for prosecution as necessary.
  • Provide support in implementing advocacy programs regarding the UIA and UICA.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote awareness and understanding of labor laws.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year tertiary qualification in Internal Audit, Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Information Systems, B.Com Accounting, B.Com Law, LLB, or Financial Management.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, Batho Pele Principles, and relevant labor legislation including the Public Service Act, OHS Act, and Employment Equity Act.
  • Skills in facilitation, planning, computer literacy, interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and analytical research.
