What You’ll Do

  • Register and allocate case numbers to all pleadings and court documents received.
  • Ensure that court files are served on all concerned parties.
  • Prepare and maintain case files for litigants and attorneys.
  • Handle requests for court files and attend to queries from the public.
  • Record and systematically manage documents received in the court.
  • Monitor case files and maintain registers for filing and archiving.
  • Assist with administrative registrar duties and compliance with HR policies.
  • Implement case management practices to streamline court processes.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
  • No prior experience required, making this a great entry into public service.
  • A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of registry processes, filing systems, and legislative frameworks governing the public service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
