What You’ll Do
- Render effective library and information services to users.
- Manage library and information systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Assist with book selection for the library and Chambers.
- Classify and catalogue library materials accurately.
- Provide reference and information services tailored to the needs of the court.
- Monitor and provide input on the library budget.
- Market and promote library services to enhance community engagement.
- Perform administrative and supervisory tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Engage in court-related work to improve efficiency.
- Manage assets related to library materials.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma or Degree in Library Science or an equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 (360 credits recognized by SAQA).
- A minimum of two years of experience in library services and information systems.
- Strong knowledge of library science matters, prescripts, and relevant legislation.
- Experience in a court environment is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license will be beneficial.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and control skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
