What You’ll Do

  • Manage the reception desk, greeting and directing patients and the public with professionalism.
  • Operate the switchboard and PA system, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mobile and handset phones, including reporting faults and managing replacements.
  • Keep the operator’s directory updated and assist with recordkeeping for telephone accounts and PA system requests.
  • Capture information accurately on computer applications and provide administrative support to colleagues and supervisors.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum educational qualification of General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7).
  • Relevant experience in operating electronic switchboards, PA systems, copy machines, and computer applications.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including handling parcels and patient folders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent listening and telephone etiquette.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good recordkeeping abilities.
