What You’ll Do

  • Assist learners with their assessments and academic tasks
  • Support teaching and learning by preparing classroom materials, including teaching aids and assistive devices
  • Supervise learners during class as well as during breaks and playtime
  • Help maintain classroom organization and control
  • Manage classroom administrative tasks and record keeping
  • Provide additional support to learners with physical disabilities, including assistance with personal needs

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Functional computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Ability to plan effectively and work under pressure
