What You’ll Do

• Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Provide elementary clinical nursing care under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Maintain professional standards and engage in self-development to enhance nursing practices.
• Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Utilize resources effectively to support patient care and hospital operations.

What You’ll Need

• A qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nursing Assistant.
• Registration with the SANC as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
• Experience requirements:
• Grade 1: No experience required.
• Grade 2: At least 10 years of relevant experience after registration.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience after registration.
• Willingness to rotate to different wards and work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Competency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with knowledge of recordkeeping procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
