What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the implementation of supply chain management practices across logistics, including ordering, payments, and transit.
- Manage asset disposals and ensure loss control measures are in place.
- Maintain and update the order register, ensuring transactions are processed according to financial and SCM delegations.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and follow up on unauthorized orders.
- Prepare and place orders with suppliers, ensuring all necessary documents are certified and attached.
- Perform administrative duties and conduct personnel development and performance assessments.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate and a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, or Financial Management, or an equivalent qualification at NQF 6.
- LOGIS / BAS certificates and knowledge of the relevant Supply Chain Management legislation and directives.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, numeracy, and presentation skills.
- Proven supervisory skills and the ability to allocate work while ensuring quality outcomes.
