What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support in developing and implementing supply chain management policies and frameworks.
- Assist in supply chain management audit and compliance processes.
- Conduct research to support the implementation of supply chain policies.
- Support awareness initiatives to empower NSG officials on supply chain management matters.
- Offer technical and administrative advice to stakeholders on supply chain issues.
- Manage asset needs assessments, acquisitions, and disposals.
- Maintain and update the asset register, ensuring accurate barcoding and documentation.
- Plan and conduct asset verifications and stock counts, reporting discrepancies.
- Compile procurement requests and facilitate bidding processes.
- Provide secretariat support to committees related to asset and procurement management.
What You’ll Need
- A tertiary qualification at NQF level 6 in Logistics Management, Purchasing Management, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce.
- One to two years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Knowledge of public sector legislation and supply chain management frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Skills in document management, meeting administration, and virtual meeting facilitation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently while contributing to a team.
