What You’ll Do

  • Capture and verify invoices and create Creditor Payment Advises accurately.
  • Maintain a computerized or manual register of all payments processed.
  • Provide relevant information on creditors to line managers.
  • Update the Procurement Status Report with transaction details.
  • Assist with asset management, including compiling and maintaining asset records.
  • Process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Provide logistical support during the bid consideration and contracts conclusion processes.
  • Administer supply chain day-to-day duties, ensuring proper filing and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Compile Supply Chain Management reports on orders issued.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a Grade 12 certificate.
  • A National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or a relevant qualification at NQF level 6 is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of financial functions and the ability to capture data accurately.
  • Understanding of public service financial legislation and regulations (PFMA, PSA, DFI).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic financial operating systems.
  • Good problem-solving, monitoring, and analytical skills.
