What You’ll Do

  • Implement and monitor supply chain management processes in accordance with PFMA regulations.
  • Manage procurement and contract management activities, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Oversee asset management and inventory control functions, maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping and reporting as mandated by regulations.
  • Collaborate across departments to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
  • Lead and manage teams, providing guidance and support in supply chain operations.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant NQF level 6 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, or Financial Management recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience, with at least three years at a lower management or supervisory level in a related field.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for individuals with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of the Public Service legislative environment, policies, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Functional computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
