What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate supply chain management (SCM) planning, reporting, and risk management processes.
  • Oversee supplier and contract management to ensure effective service delivery and compliance.
  • Monitor SCM performance indicators and prepare management reports on procurement and operational efficiency.
  • Promote ethical procurement practices and implement anti-fraud measures.
  • Develop and implement demand and acquisition management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the Annual Procurement Plan in alignment with budget allocations.
  • Manage acquisition processes, including bid administration and compliance with SCM regulations.
  • Provide secretariat support to bidding committees and maintain procurement documentation.
  • Ensure accurate inventory and asset management, including monitoring and verification processes.
  • Establish strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • A recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NQF level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in supply chain management, asset management, or logistics, including three years at a supervisory level.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and related supply chain management frameworks.
  • Proficiency in government transversal systems and procurement platforms such as BAS and LOGIS.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
