What You’ll Do
- Compile and review tender documents to ensure compliance with established guidelines
- Place advertisements for tenders and maintain a comprehensive tender register
- Prepare monthly reports on bids advertised and provide secretariat duties for committee meetings
- Attend briefing sessions when required and record detailed minutes
- Manage administrative functions, including filing and verifying documents for each project
- Maintain accurate records of requests and submissions to acquisitions
- Ensure adherence to the National Treasury and Provincial Treasury prescripts and circulars
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Logistics, or Cost & Management Accounting
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a related field
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong knowledge of public finance management and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in computer literacy and report writing
