What You’ll Do

• Supervise and oversee logistical support services within the department
• Check, place, and verify orders for goods and supplies
• Receive and verify deliveries from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Maintain accurate records in registers and databases for inventory management
• Address goods requests from end users and facilitate the issuing process
• Update the register of suppliers and ensure compliance with regulations
• Supervise human resources within the logistics team and promote personnel development
• Assess staff performance and implement necessary disciplinary measures when required

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Logistics, or Cost and Management Accounting
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics management
• A valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations
• Strong planning and organizing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficiency in computer applications and problem-solving abilities
