What You’ll Do

  • Render acquisition services to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Compile request for quotation documents to facilitate the bidding process.
  • Verify the registration of service providers identified on LOGIS for compliance.
  • Execute the bidding and quotation process, including publishing tender invitations.
  • Receive, open, and evaluate bid and quotation documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Conduct compliance checks on documentation using standard checklists.
  • Record received quotation documents on the quotation register for tracking.
  • Submit complete documentation for further processing at Logistics Management.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Cost & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, or Financial Information Systems (NQF Level 06).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Acquisition Management.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of National and Provincial Treasury Prescripts, SCM Delegations, and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
