What You’ll Do

  • Compile annual plans for inspections and evaluations at provisioning stores and stations.
  • Conduct physical inspections according to the approved plans and compile detailed inspection reports.
  • Inspect special projects and generate reports to ensure data accuracy on general ledgers.
  • Submit letters to relevant accounting personnel to amend any discrepancies found.
  • Draw financial reports and execute relevant transfers or certifications of information.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress reports on inspections and visits to stores.
  • Assist with stock-taking programs by filing and compiling necessary circulars.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
  • At least four years of experience in a relevant field.
  • An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher as recognized by SAQA) is advantageous.
  • A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant public service prescripts.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • General computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and professionally.
