What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments of equipment and stock needs to maintain adequate levels.
- Allocate equipment and stock to chief users and obtain acknowledgment receipts.
- Inspect registers to ensure accuracy of consumable items and entries.
- Update and submit stock registers for inspection by the Supply Chain Management Commander.
- Register new vehicles and manage the completion of required administration for vehicles.
- Handle traffic offences and renew vehicle licences.
- Maintain vehicle registers and manage fuel card usage.
- Oversee deliveries of stationery and manage the removal of furniture and boarded items.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4).
- At least four years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics.
- A three-year Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in a relevant field is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of public service prescripts and regulations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in general computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities.
