What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness in and around police premises, including both interior and exterior areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing furniture, and vacuuming carpets.
- Ensure bathrooms and kitchens are kept clean and sanitary.
- Safeguard and handle cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly.
- Load and unload goods as needed for various functions.
- Conduct basic garden maintenance services.
- Wash and clean state vehicles to ensure they are presentable.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- South African citizenship, with proof required at the interview.
- ABET Level 4/Grade 9/Standard 7 certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 1 recognized by SAQA).
- Basic understanding of cleaning protocols and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Literacy, numeracy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and willingness to work extended hours when needed.
