What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and support staff in supply chain operations.
  • Administer the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with SCM policies.
  • Provide training to internal clients about SCM processes and updates.
  • Check purchase requisitions and orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Release purchase requisitions and orders on the SAP system.
  • Maintain and update the contract register for transparency and record-keeping.
  • Compile audit reports and implement controls for order placements.
  • Receive and verify goods from suppliers, maintaining accurate records.
  • Issue goods to end-users and manage stock levels, conducting regular stock takes.
  • Process payments and assess audit and compliance readiness within SCM.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Three to five years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain duties and practices.
  • Proficiency in data entry and administrative statistics.
  • Understanding of Human Resources prescripts and financial operating systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A commitment to client orientation and customer focus.
