What You’ll Do

  • Safely transport learners to and from Special Schools, following designated routes.
  • Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and school personnel regarding incidents and procedures.
  • Assist learners during the loading and unloading process to ensure their safety.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working order.
  • Plan and navigate efficient routes using maps or GPS to avoid delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and goods handled.
  • Collect and deliver documents, mail, and packages as needed.
  • Support general office tasks such as filing and photocopying as required.
  • Interact with clients and customers professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate.
  • A valid Code 10 driver’s licence with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • At least 3 years of bus driving experience is advantageous.
  • Competency in driving will be assessed through a driver’s competency test before appointment.
