What You’ll Do

  • Provide effective support at Transit-In for stock management processes.
  • Receive and verify obsolete and unserviceable stock from various divisions and provinces.
  • Receive stock from suppliers and ensure accuracy against invoices and delivery notes.
  • Register serialized items on the PAS (Procurement and Asset System).
  • Capture receive vouchers on the PAS for inventory tracking.
  • Assist with the certification, receiving, and issuing of firearms.
  • Participate in stock-taking activities to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Help update room inventories to reflect current stock status.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or an equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 as recognized by SAQA).
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Solid general computer literacy skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions.
  • Good planning, organizing, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude and the ability to respond to diverse needs in a dynamic environment.
