What You’ll Do
- Manage the physical movement of office furniture and equipment.
- Receive and respond to requests for asset movement from officials.
- Complete and maintain asset movement documentation accurately.
- Conduct spot checks and verification of assets regularly.
- Update and maintain the asset register and inventory control sheets.
- Compile and prepare files for the disposal of redundant assets.
- Assist in the barcoding and minor repairs of assets.
- Collaborate with end-users to ensure proper asset management.
- Participate in random checks of waste and ensure proper waste management.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
