What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive student counselling and referral services to support student needs.
  • Implement policies for work placement and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs, ensuring students gain practical experience.
  • Facilitate career guidance and academic support to assist students in achieving their educational goals.
  • Organize and oversee sport, recreation, arts, and culture programs to enrich student life on campus.
  • Lead initiatives for student governance and leadership development, fostering active participation.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring effective delivery of student support services.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in student support administration within an educational environment.
  • A valid unendorsed driver’s license and willingness to travel long distances as required.
  • Advanced knowledge in the interpretation and implementation of policies related to student support services.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, including the PSET, CET Act, and Student Support Services Act.
  • Strong skills in administration, planning, financial management, report writing, and interpersonal communication.
  • A client-oriented mindset with a commitment to integrity, proactivity, and team leadership.
