What You’ll Do
- Capture receipts and journals using the Basic Accounting System (BAS)
- Process debtor’s accounts and monitor PEIS accounts
- Bill PAIA accounts and administer sectional logistics
- Collect cash, make deposits, and prepare financial reconciliations
- Generate financial reports and request relevant submissions to Treasury
- Consolidate revenue information from various facilities for reporting purposes
What You’ll Need
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus a Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Management Accounting
- Knowledge and experience in provisioning administration, focusing on LOGIS, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework (PPPFA), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and Treasury Regulations
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good management and supervisory skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage
