What You’ll Do

  • Capture receipts and journals using the Basic Accounting System (BAS)
  • Process debtor’s accounts and monitor PEIS accounts
  • Bill PAIA accounts and administer sectional logistics
  • Collect cash, make deposits, and prepare financial reconciliations
  • Generate financial reports and request relevant submissions to Treasury
  • Consolidate revenue information from various facilities for reporting purposes

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 plus a Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Management Accounting
  • Knowledge and experience in provisioning administration, focusing on LOGIS, Preferential Procurement Policy Framework (PPPFA), Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and Treasury Regulations
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good management and supervisory skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines
  • A valid driver’s licence is an added advantage
