What You’ll Do
- Provide effective debt collection services to ensure timely recovery of funds for the Compensation Fund
- Manage financial administration processes related to debt collections
- Follow up on debtors’ accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies
- Supervise and train staff, enhancing their skills and performance
- Engage with various stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, or Auditing, recognized by SAQA
- At least one year of functional experience in an income management or debt collection environment
- Knowledge of the Compensation Fund policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including COIDA and PFMA
- Understanding of financial risk, public sector revenue, and receivable processes
- Strong skills in financial accounts management and digital tools related to accounting
- Proficient communication and conflict management skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial information
