What You’ll Do
- Conduct accounts receivable reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage financial administration processes related to accounts receivables.
- Prepare quarterly disclosures for accounts receivable, contributing to transparency and accountability.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to foster a productive work environment.
- Engage with departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effective operations.
- Contribute to the implementation of financial management strategies within the Compensation Fund.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Financial Management, Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, or Auditing, as recognized by SAQA.
- At least one year of functional experience in an accounts receivable environment.
- Familiarity with Compensation Fund business strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of financial compliance, reporting, and public sector revenue processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, including GRAP and COIDA.
- Excellent skills in fraud identification, data analytics, and financial account management.
- Proficiency in digital financial systems and tools.
