What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive budgeting and planning services to ensure financial stability.
  • Monitor and report on budgetary performance and compliance.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial management policies and processes.
  • Coordinate budget inputs from various stakeholders within the department.
  • Assist in compiling the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) budget.
  • Manage adjustments to budget submissions and maintain records on the Basic Accounting System (BAS).
  • Perform comprehensive analyses of program costs and funding availability.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification in finance (National Diploma or B-Degree).
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulations.
  • Proven skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and report writing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial management systems.
