About the Role
The Department of Social Development is looking for a dedicated Office Manager to join the team in Cape Town, Western Cape. What You’ll Do

- Provide line administrative support services to enhance operational efficiency within the Chief Director’s Office.
- Conduct research, analyze information, and compile complex documents for the Chief Director.
- Screen documents and determine necessary actions or information for meetings.
- Manage office resources, including budget planning and requirements.
- Stay updated on applicable policies, prescripts, and procedures to ensure effective support.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree) or higher.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing executive support to senior management.
- Knowledge of public service reporting procedures and modern governance systems.
- Proficiency in financial management, project management, and administrative processes.
- Strong research and analytical skills, along with proven computer literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
