What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive budget planning and preparation to support departmental objectives.
- Offer budget support and maintain financial control to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Calculate adjustments and develop the main budget to reflect accurate financial forecasts.
- Maintain high standards of financial governance and facilitate stakeholder support.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance financial processes and reporting methodologies.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma or B-Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in management accounting, budgeting, or financial project management.
- Solid knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury Regulations.
- Familiarity with management accounting principles, government financial systems, and applicable legislative frameworks.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, computer literacy (especially MS Excel), and report writing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
