What You’ll Do

  • Supervise the implementation and maintenance of financial management practices.
  • Oversee financial administration processes, including salaries, tax payments, and bookkeeping.
  • Maintain and verify claims recoverable and payable accounts for provincial and national departments.
  • Monitor and verify cheque payments and manage outstanding claims.
  • Provide first-line support to users of the BAS system and assist with user training.
  • Compile reports and manage financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate along with a Diploma in Financial Management at NQF 6 or equivalent recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance environment.
  • LOGIS/BAS certification.
  • Proficient knowledge of LOGIS/BAS and PERSAL systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
