What You’ll Do

• Provide social work services focused on the care, protection, and development of vulnerable individuals and families.
• Deliver individual and group counselling sessions to address various social challenges.
• Conduct assessments to identify specific needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
• Implement tailored interventions based on assessments, ensuring ongoing support for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of social work interventions, processes, and outcomes.
• Engage in social work research and contribute to the development of policies that enhance service delivery.
• Perform necessary administrative functions related to social work.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor of Social Work degree recognized by SAQA.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
• Strong knowledge of human behavior and social systems to effectively intervene and promote well-being.
• Competence in program and project management.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in computer literacy and information management.
