What You’ll Do

• Provide a full range of diagnostic imaging services including routine, trauma, theatre, and mobile radiography.
• Conduct outreach radiography services across the district to support underserved areas.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Document and report radiographic procedures accurately.
• Assist the Chief Radiographer and Clinical Manager with administrative tasks.
• Participate in quality assurance and risk management efforts.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Registration with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Relevant experience:
• Grade 1: None after registration for RSA-qualified employees; 1 year for foreign-qualified employees.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience for RSA-qualified employees; 11 years for foreign-qualified employees.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years relevant experience for RSA-qualified employees; 21 years for foreign-qualified employees.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel to District Hospitals and Clinics.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• High level of technical proficiency with advanced imaging technologies.
• Strong ethical standards, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to work efficiently in a resource-constrained environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
