The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated Professional Nurse Grade 1 to 3 for the HIV/AIDS George Sub-district, stationed at the Rosemoor Community Centre in George, South Africa. What You’ll Do
- Supervise the delivery of quality nursing care in line with Primary Health Care principles.
- Maintain ethical practices within legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Primary Health Care Team and various stakeholders to promote effective healthcare services.
- Efficiently manage human, material, and physical resources.
- Participate in training programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing nursing practices.
- Uphold workplace discipline and mentor subordinate staff as needed.
What You’ll Need
- A Basic R425 qualification or a 4-year Bachelor Degree in Nursing, allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
- For Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in General Nursing after registration.
- For Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ experience in General Nursing after registration.
- Willingness to assist at other Primary Health Care facilities and work shifts when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
