What You’ll Do

• Provide specialized Occupational Therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
• Manage clinical cases, supporting clients in their rehabilitation and community reintegration.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Assist in the supervision and guidance of students and junior staff within the department.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical codes, and professional standards.
• Manage resources efficiently, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Occupational Therapist.
• Registration with the HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist.
• For Grade 1: No post-registration experience required; for Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience; for Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years relevant experience.
• Valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
• Therapeutic knowledge in managing clients with neurological deficits and other medical conditions.
• Flexibility and innovation to adapt to varying client needs.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office.
• Ability to guide and supervise students effectively.
