What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and oversee family preservation services to support at-risk families.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services provided to families.
  • Facilitate assessments and interventions for families facing dysfunction.
  • Lead a team of social workers, ensuring compliance with relevant social work practices.
  • Develop and implement training and support programs for staff.
  • Prepare reports and documentation on family services and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor of Social Work, recognized by SAQA.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of post-registration experience in social work.
  • Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (exceptions apply for persons with disabilities).
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing and evaluation skills.
  • Knowledge of social work service delivery models and NPO governance.
