What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and oversee the Victim Empowerment Programme to ensure effective implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with social welfare standards and quality control measures.
  • Lead efforts in addressing human trafficking through targeted programs.
  • Supervise, mentor, and advise social workers and social auxiliary workers.
  • Facilitate capacity-building initiatives and skills development for team members.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor of Social Work recognized by SAQA.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in social work following registration with SACSSP.
  • Valid driver’s licence, with exceptions made for individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation and strategies related to social work, including SORMA, DVA, TIP ACT, and the National Strategy on GBV.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, report writing, and management skills.
