What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage victim empowerment programs to support individuals affected by crime.
• Ensure social welfare professional compliance and quality control across services.
• Oversee human trafficking programs, providing essential support and resources.
• Supervise and mentor social workers and social auxiliary workers, enhancing their skills and effectiveness.
• Conduct training and capacity-building initiatives to foster professional development and improve service delivery.

What You’ll Need

• A Bachelor of Social Work recognized by SAQA.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• A minimum of seven years’ experience in social work post-registration.
• A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (except for individuals with disabilities).
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation such as SORMA, DVA, TIP ACT, and the National Strategy on GBV.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
• Understanding of supervision models and social work service delivery frameworks.
