What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and evaluate NPOs’ compliance with signed Transfer Agreements and relevant legislation.
  • Address complaints and inquiries regarding NPOs and service provision.
  • Ensure registration and compliance of facilities as per legislative requirements.
  • Manage program-specific services in line with legislative mandates.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders at international, national, provincial, local, and regional levels.

What You’ll Need

  • A formal 4-year degree/diploma in social work.
  • Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant social work experience, with at least 5 years in policy development.
  • Valid Code B driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of social welfare legislation and community development theories.
  • Proficiency in two official languages of the Western Cape Government.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
