What You’ll Do

• Lead crime prevention programs for at-risk youth in and out of school.
• Assist Probation Officers in implementing diversion programs by gathering information for report writing.
• Provide home-based supervision for young individuals awaiting trial, ensuring they remain in the community.
• Oversee supervision services for youth placed under community service and probation orders.
• Conduct family tracing when necessary to facilitate reunification and support.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate and a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
• Current registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) as a Social Worker.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in social work post-registration.
• Proficient computer skills and a valid South African driver’s license.
• Strong leadership and project management skills along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Competencies in research, planning, organizing, and evaluation.
